Women’s Rights believes that ethnic and cultural affiliations are not the ultimate factor
in the development of the individual. People can change their values, acquire new
ways, and feel solidarity and fellowship toward new groups and other cultures.
A condition for this is being allowed to stay free from religious or cultural suppression
or force, something that to a large extent affects women and young people in families with immigrant background.
The overall goal of Women’s Rights is to give support to women and young people in
their struggle to form their lives independently. This organisation believes that this struggle would contribute to a society imbued with solidarity between the citizens, and create more economic and social justice.
Women’s Rights works both through giving information and active social support to
individual women and youngsters
